KA-52

KA-52

The Russian combat helicopter is a template for our third proprietary helicopter design with coaxial rotors. The design itself was a technical challenge due to the complexity of the coaxial rotor and also the twin-turbine drive connected to the inclined and grounded teeth in the oil bath. The rotor blade distribution box is also dipped in fat... The helicopter is constructed at a scale of 1: 5.6. Length 2,524 mm, width 1,400 mm, height 900 mm, weight 24.5 kg, two rotors with R of 2,600 mm.

The drive is provided by two Jakadofsky 2x6 kW turbines at 100,000 rpm. Engine speed 880 RPM Kerosene Jet A1 fuel. Everything is done with the possible weight in mind. The helicopter’s hull is made of carbon fibre, with supporting structure made of a 7075 high-strength Al alloy, titanium rods. Rotor shafts with the longest R20x630 are drilled in the entire length of material 14220, cemented and sanded. On-board 8.4 V electronics, receiver, transmitter and telemetry from Jeti. Servos by Futaba – HPS H700 44 kg/cm and HPS A700 74 kg/cm.
