The calibration laboratory is organisationally integrated into the KAVON CZ s. r. o. company system and acts as a separate centre for customers. The calibration laboratory was founded in January 1999. In 2003, it attained its first certification by a national accreditation body in the field of torque. At present, it meets accreditation criteria according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and, based on the issued certificate, the calibration laboratory can perform accredited laboratory and external calibration of torque gauges and rotary tools in the range of 0.1-5,000 Nm. The calibration laboratory is located at the premises of KAVON CZ s. r. o. in Medlešice 139, 538 31 Chrudim.
Calibration of torque tools is carried out on Norbar calibration equipment in accordance with state ČMI standards, the processing of which is supported by a proprietary computer program. The calibration is performed according to internal procedures that comply with the requirements of the ČSN EN ISO 6789-1 230780, ISO 5393 and other standards. In its field, the calibration laboratory is a regular and successful participant in qualification testing programs.
