Workbench WB 625

This is what an ideal workplace looks like - everything lined up, everything at hand.

There are few places where such high demands are placed on a technician's tools and equipment as in aviation. Aircraft service and maintenance workers need specialized tool sets and plenty of storage space. They need storage solutions that provide maximum mobility and organization, and that allow them to work efficiently and safely. They need tools that do not compromise on safety and quality. It's good that STAHLWILLE has found the optimal solution to these requirements with the WB 625 workbench and numerous aerial tool sets.

1. Plenty of storage space and work area - but still mobile

Aircraft technicians need to be ready for action quickly and have an extensive toolkit at their disposal. More specifically: be ready to work on the aircraft. The STAHLWILLE WB 625 workbench is equipped accordingly: seven full-extension drawers throughout and a 115 cm wide work surface made of flexible birch plywood at a working height of 104 cm, all on four oil- and acid-resistant smooth running wheels with thread protection and two locking brakes: there is no better solution for mobile yet ergonomic work with your own tools.

2. Tool sets as individual as the aircraft

However, keep in mind that if the content is not right, even the best desk will be almost useless. That's why STAHLWILLE has a wide range of pre-configured tool sets in its product range. They are ideally adapted to the individual aircraft types and the corresponding maintenance schedules and are clearly arranged. They make optimum use of the fully extendable workbench drawers. Thanks to the Tool Check System (TCS), you can immediately see when a part of the set has not returned. What if no suitable pre-configured tool set is available? Even in this case, a solution can be found quickly, because STAHLWILLE also offers customized Tool Control System (TCS) foam inserts.

3. Special solutions for aviation

STAHLWILLE has been working with airlines around the world for many years. Because we know the requirements in hangars and airports like almost no other manufacturer, we know what is really important. Probably the most important keyword is "foreign object damage" or "FOD". It is important to prevent small parts from being lost during maintenance and subsequently causing damage to the aircraft. The Tool Control System (TCS) is an important building block for effective FOD prevention. The same applies to the QuickRelease system, the only locking system on the market that reliably locks all parts, from ratchet to attachment, universal joint to sockets, without taking up additional space or making it difficult to work in tight spaces.

Another plus point in the hangar: special STAHLWILLE tool sets for the aerospace sector allow two technicians to work on one WB 625 workbench at the same time. How did we do it? It's simple: we duplicated frequently used tools in the kits. Simple but effective! And of course the same applies to all tools: they offer the consistently recognizable, uncompromising STAHLWILLE quality, ergonomics and precision. For perfect results even under pressure.
